Women take long-term view

Dandenong Evening VIEW Club members, back, president Dianne Black, publicity officer Brigitte Billimoria, assistant secretary Julie Green, front, assistant treasurer Beryl Smith, treasurer Laraine Hitchens and secretary Gunta Delvers.

DANDENONG women have raised $320 for children in need.
About 40 Dandenong Evening VIEW (Voice Interests and Education of Women) Club members and guests enjoyed a three-course meal at the Graduate’s Restaurant at St John’s Regional College in Dandenong on Thursday 17 September.
The school’s catering and hospitality students use the space for hospitality and catering studies.
The dinner, a raffle and door prizes raised money for the Smith Family’s Learning for Life program which helps disadvantaged Australian kids to get the most out of their education so they can create better futures for themselves.
Call Brigitte Billimoria on 9795 1222 for information about joining the group.
