SKATE comps, cooking, beach days and more will keep young people in Greater Dandenong busy this summer.
The council’s youth services team has prepared the Summer Vibe Holiday Program for 12 to 25-year-olds.
All activities are reduced cost or free, and bus pickups for outings are provided free of charge from Dandenong, Noble Park and Springvale.
From Monday 4 January, there’ll be go karting, bowling, laser tag, a video game tournament, a pool party, trampolining, soccer games and art activities.
Participants can visit Luna Park or Melbourne Zoo, take part in skate, BMX and scooter workshops, celebrate Australia Day at Dandenong Park on 26 January, and a skate competition at Noble Park Skate Park on Saturday 30 January.
The program gives young people the chance to meet new friends, learn new skills, link into services and programs, and have fun.
Places are limited. Bookings can be made at the YStop office at 39A Clow Street, Dandenong, or at council customer service centres.
Bookings open Monday 7 December and close Thursday 31 December.
