TAC Cup fixture revamped in 2017

By Nick Creely

The 2017 TAC Cup fixture has been released by AFL Victoria, with all of the 12 TAC Cup clubs playing 18 home-and-away games (up from 17 in 2016).
In a revamp of the format, the top eight teams will take part in a refurbished three-week finals series.
As part of the Dandenong Stingrays alignment with the Frankston Football Club, they will play two home games at Frankston Oval, one in Round 4 and the other in Round 14, while their remaining home games remain at Shepley Oval.
The Rays will travel down to face the Gippsland Power at Morwell Recreation Reserve in Round 1 on 24 March, as they look to better their straight-set finals defeat from 2016.
Dandenong will be coached by Craig Black once again, as the Rays look to better their draft haul of three from last season.
