Colourful costumes and friendly smiles filled Harmony Square in Dandenong on Wednesday 22 March.
The Harmony Festival: Everyone’s Welcome event marked Cultural Diversity Week and Harmony Day.
The Springvale Neighbourhood House-organised event featured an international dress parade, a multicultural concert, community stall, and cultural activities like Maori temporary tattooing.
The festival supported the aims of Cultural Diversity Week in promoting community harmony, awareness, understanding and mutual respect.
