The missing birds.

The theft of a rare flock from Dandenong North has ruffled feathers.
Police are investigating after thieves entered a McFees Road home between 8am and 8pm on Thursday 20 April, cut an aviary padlock and stole eight Indian Ringnecks and four Alexandrian parakeets.
Officers swooped on an address in Latham Crescent, Dandenong, on Saturday 22 April and recovered 10 of the allegedly stolen birds.
Two Indian ringneck parrots, a yellow male and a yellow and white female, are still missing.
Their owner, a 59-year-old man, and Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Kimberly Alp appealed for their safe return.
“We are looking for information regarding this offence, and also assist in the recovery of the two remaining outstanding parrots,” she said.
The recovered birds were unharmed. No arrests have been made.
