Dress found, post haste

A $100,000 dress stolen last week was found at Australia Post’s Dandenong Letters Centre this week.
Police said the dress – part of a larger outfit – was left in a shopping bag in the boot of a Toyota hatchback parked in Adam Street, Richmond, on the night of Tuesday, 24 July.
Detectives investigating the theft received information that the missing piece of the outfit had been recovered in a black garbage bag at the Dandenong Letters Centre about 9.30pm on Sunday.
Police said the dress was not damaged during the theft and was returned to the owner on Tuesday afternoon.
Police are still determining who stole the dress and are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
