AMAZING bowling by Dandenong West paceman Doug Louden secured the all-important six points for his side in their Dandenong and District Cricket Association Turf One match against Berwick on Saturday.
Chasing a total 322, the Berwick batsmen were destroyed by Louden, who finished with 7/50 from his 28 overs.
Among 11 maidens, Louden snared three lbws, clean bowled two batsmen, scored one stumping and one caught and bowled in a spell that had the Berwick batsmen dumbfounded.
Justin Stanton was the top scorer for Berwick, the opener adding 33 before being trapped in front by Louden.
Berwick capitulated to be all out for 123.
The win puts Dandenong West into third spot on the Turf One ladder, while Berwick slipped to fifth position.
