THE City of Greater Dandenong has set aside $70,000 to improve part of a Bangholme intersection that has been the scene of too many incidents according to Cr Peter Brown.
“Cars have been going off the road down there like lemmings off a cliff.”
Cr Brown said both Riverend Rd and nearby McMahens Rd were dangerous and needed attention.
The council’s director of engineering services Tim Tamlin said his department was aware of the issues.
“The funds have been allocated to realign the intersection and fix the problems that are there,” he said.
