FREE financial and investment advice will be offered at three seminars at the Dandenong Club next week.
Centrelink’s Financial Information Service (FIS) officers Dallas Achilles and Tony Rotunno have received a strong response from their previous Investment Information seminars at Dandenong, Cranbourne, Fountain Gate, Berwick, Beaconsfield, and Springvale.
Mr Achilles said it was never too early or too late to start financial planning.
“Our mission is to show as many people as possible how to plan and manage their finances to build wealth and financial independence for their own future,” he said.
“The seminars are free and provide independent, unbiased information.
“They are open to all people interested in managing their own secure financial future.” The seminars, starting on Tuesday, 4 October, are not restricted to Centrelink customers.
The first, Creating Wealth getting started, covers asset classes and risks, strategies and product types.
The second, on Wednesday, 5 October is titled Understanding Income Streams with a special focus on how Centrelink assesses income streams.
The third seminar, on Thursday, 6 October, is about Understanding Your Pension and deals with pension choices, Centrelink assessment issues and making the most of the pension.
All three seminars are at the Dandenong Club, 1579 Heatherton Road, Dandenong, from 6.15pm to 8.30pm.
To reserve a seat, phone 136 357 as bookings are essential.
A light supper will be provided.
