Changes to pool fun

DOVETON residents will benefit from an exciting new development at the Doveton Pool in the Park.
A new water play area has been installed at the popular location, and is set to make summer even more fun for local youngsters.
The interactive water play area comprises a number of water toys, including a tipping toucan, a number of sprays and bubblers, all on a colourful soft fall area. The new area is part of Casey Council’s $78.4 million capital works program for 2007-08.
Casey mayor Colin Butler said several projects had recently been completed and many more were on the way.
“The capital works program for 2007-08 is well under way with some exciting community infrastructure projects recently being completed,” he said. “With more than 230,000 residents, the capital works program has been developed to ensure that we continue to deliver much-needed infrastructure for our growing community.”
