POLICE have charged a Point Cook man with the murder of a Filipino woman in Springvale last year.
This week police arrested 43-year-old Dinilo Miranda Guingab of Point Cook and charged him with one count of murder in relation to the death of Luvina Dayang, aged 50.
Ms Dayang was formally identified as a Philippines’ national and her last known place of address was the Sydney suburb of Riverwood.
Police made the arrest on Monday.
The man is being held in police custody and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
