WORKING nine to five has almost become a thing of the past in today’s workforce, just ask employees in Dandenong South’s industrial area.
But now, thanks to a local gourmet food establishment, nightshift workers don’t have to go hungry.
Let’s Indulge lunch shop, has expanded its business to cater to the thriving industrial area by running another mobile food delivery truck through the night.
As far as owner Angie Cychowski can tell, Let’s Indulge has the only nighttime truck in the Dandenong area and their nocturnal customers couldn’t be happier.
“The truck has been really well received,” Ms Cychowski said.
Ms Cychowski started operating the stateoftheart service a few weeks ago, after she was approached by local businesses expressing a need for nighttime deliveries.
“We provide food fresh out of our shop which is restocked twice daily,” she said.
Several years ago, the Berwick resident was working in financial accounting while also running a small takeaway business in Keysborough on the side.
“I always had a finger in the pie, so to speak,” she said.
“The gourmet food business has always been my passion.”
And while her business continues to grow, workers in the industrial area of Dandenong South can rest assured their stomachs will now be full 24 hours a day.
