DANDENONG graphics arts students will proudly display their finest works at Melbourne’s Dockland precinct next week.
This year’s annual Graphic Arts Graduating Exhibition will feature students from Dandenong’s Chisholm Institute of TAFE.
The exhibition will be held at the National Australia Bank Building, the Forum, Docklands, from 17 to 19 September.
Teaching staff from Chisholm’s Graphic Arts course organise the judging as part of their aim to maintain a course that is aligned with current industry standards in both design and software.
Thirty-one students will have their work judged and exhibited to the industry and other universities, colleges and private providers who attend the exhibition.
The awards will be for electronic finished art, typography, new media, traditional and electronic illustration, image manipulation, an industry assessment task, Most Professional award and Design award as well as an award from the Australian Graphic Design Association.
Top award is the Gold Folio Award, with a Silver Award for the runner up.
It’s a good look for students
