Shaun Inguanzo
ONE man was rushed to hospital with a fractured skull and three others were left wounded following a hotel stabbing in Dandenong on Monday.
Police are calling for witnesses to the altercation at the Nu Hotel in Scott Street, Dandenong, and would particularly like to speak with a woman who was believed to have been with two of the men.
Victoria Police spokesperson Senior Constable Michael Henry said an altercation occurred between one man, a 43yearold, bearing a knife, and two others, aged 21 and 28, inside the hotel about 1am.
Police said the two men in their 20s were left with stab wounds, and when a security guard attempted to intervene he was also stabbed.
The 43yearold Dandenong man’s skull was fractured and he required surgery.
The two men and the security guard, all aged in their 20s, were taken to hospital with minor cuts, and have since been released from hospital.
Police are waiting to speak to the man whose skull was fractured.
Star contacted Nu Hotel management who refused to speak about the incident due to policy reasons.
Police have urged witnesses to the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, with information.
