Woman hurt after car hits traffic light pole

A HAMPTON Park woman was seriously injured after her car hit a traffic light pole in Dandenong South last week.
The incident happened at 6am on Saturday 12 April at the Eastlink overpass section of the new Dandenong Southern Bypass.
Police said a Holden Commodore sedan was travelling east along the bypass and over Eastlink when it hit a traffic light pole.
The driver, a 23-year-old woman from Hampton Park, was taken by paramedics to The Alfred hospital with serious injuries.
Police from the Major Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene, and the Dandenong Traffic Management Unit is continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
