AFL Footy Fest show cancelled

AN AFL Footy Fest event has been cancelled in Greater Dandenong.
Last week Star reported that the AFL Mascot Manor Footy Fest was coming to Dandenong at the Stud Road basketball stadium in July.
But this week co-organiser of the event, the Entertainment Store Group, announced that the Dandenong show had been cancelled.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances the AFL Mascot Manor Footy Fest will have a modified event schedule during the 2008 July school holidays,” spokeswoman Libby Butler said.
“AFL Mascot Manor Footy Fest venues scheduled for the first week of the July school holidays have been postponed until further notice.
“However, there is a full week of action packed AFL Mascot Manor Footy Fest fun at venues around Victoria from Monday 7 July. For all Dandenong ticket holders or AFL fans, check out the Footy Fest happening at Oakleigh Recreation Centre on Tuesday 8 July.”
