ROKFEST took centre stage at Dandenong’s The Castle on Friday night with a swag of local rock acts performing for music fans keen to hear their fresh sounds.
While crowd numbers were down due to the late withdrawal of rock act Shinobi, it failed to stop other acts such as Missing Letterman, David Gillespie and Heavenly Realm from providing a somewhat eclectic yet entertaining evening in a relaxing smoke and alcohol-free environment.
The quality of The Castle’s acoustics and stage lighting meant the punters were in for a great night as each band performed a short but sweet 30-minute set.
The next RokFest will be on 16 November at The Castle, in Hemmings Park, Dandenong.
