The astonishing feat has been headlined by the success of the club’s Division Two and Division Seven sides, which have won through their sections and will advance to the divisional semi-finals this weekend.
The oustanding run of form will also see Keysborough’s top team move into Division One in 2008-09, marking the first time the club has cracked the elite bracket since 1991.
On top of that success, both of Keysborough’s night pennant teams are on top of the ladder with two games to go, while the club’s Victorian Ladies Bowling Association A1 side is also sitting in first place.
In 2008-09, the club will field teams in Division One, Division Three and two in Division Six.
And while there is sure to be more success on the way as Keysborough rolls into the finals, publicity officer Ray Johnstone last week moved to congratulate his club mates on a job well done.
“This is a result of planned recruiting and player improvement programs that began in earnest three years ago,” Johnstone said. “It’s a unique and outstanding result.”
