Champion of Champions lawn bowler Paul Peterson is presented with the perpetual shield from City of Greater Dandenong Keysborough Ward councillor Roz Blades after his grand final win on Sunday. NOBLE Park lawn bowler Paul Peterson was crowned the City of Greater Dandenong Champion of Champions after rolling his way to a thrilling victory at Keysborough Bowls Club on Sunday.
Peterson beat Burden Park dynamo Geoff Robinson 25-24 in the grand final with the last bowl of the day.
The Champion of Champions is an annual tournament that includes club champions from every bowling club in Greater Dandenong, and the competition is fierce.
Keysborough Bowls Club publicity officer Ray Johnstone said the tournament was played in great spirits.
“It was a great day and the grand final came down to the last bowl of the competition – what more could you ask for?” he said.
