DANDENONG Stadium is now officially recycle-friendly facility after the launch of new bins at what is one of the city’s busiest public places.
As reported in last week’s Star, the City of Greater Dandenong launched its Public Place Recycling Project at the stadium on Friday.
The 30-plus recycling and general waste bins will be courtside, along walkways and throughout eatery areas of the stadium.
City mayor Youhorn Chea helped launch the bins along with project partners Alcoa Foundation and Sustainability Victoria.
