DANDENONG Ward councillor Jim Memeti wasn’t shopping for diamonds at Dandenong Plaza last week.
The councillor was instead helping Zamel’s relaunch its store after a massive makeover that shows the jewellery store is here to stay for Dandenong’s future.
According to Zamel’s, the Dandenong site is only the second store in Australia to get the new design after Forest Hill last month.
Zamel’s regional manager Carina Bates said shoppers would love the open plan.
“The fresh, modern concept features improved product displays, clean lines, innovative lighting and a new product range,” she said.
“Lifestyle imagery brings a heightened sense of style to the store and complements the season’s trends and fashions reflected in Zamel’s extensive range of jewellery.”
Zamel’s retail general manager David Weil said the new look was part of a continuing and long-term commitment to Dandenong.
“We are very proud to have created employment opportunities and to have invested in the Dandenong community,” he said.
“We believe Dandenong residents will enjoy the new Zamel’s shopping experience.”
