DANDENONG pianist Eric Jiang will be the guest artist in “Songs for All Seasons” concert held by the Dandenong Choral Society later this month.
Born in China, Mr Jiang came to Australia at the age of 14 and completed his secondary schooling at Mentone Boys Grammar School.
He is now completing his third year of the Bachelor of Music degree at Monash University.
In 2007 Mr Jiang participated in a study tour of Europe with the Melbourne based Team of Pianists, visiting Paris, Salzburg, Freiburg and Bolzano.
He is an exciting addition to the Choral Society’s program that includes songs by American composers Amy Bernon and William Dawson. Other items follow the theme of “Songs For All Seasons”.
Barbara Evans will conduct the choir who will be accompanied by Diane Fernando.
Tickets will be available at the door: adult-$12, concession-$10 and children are free.
The concert will be held at St Mary’s Hall, New Street, Dandenong on Sunday 23 November at 2pm.
