Police toy with fundraising

CONSTABLE T. Bear has joined Dandenong’s crime fighting team.
“Detective” Constable T. Bear is available from Dandenong Police Station from this week.
Along with the new recruit, Sen Con Van Der Poel also welcomed Buff the Police Dog Puppy into the ranks.
The new soft toy members are part of this year’s fundraising efforts for the Blue Ribbon Foundation to raise money to build new and improved emergency facilities in Victorian public hospitals.
So far, over the last nine years, 12 hospitals have been renovated and named after officers who have been killed in the line of duty.
The bears and puppies will be on sale at police stations for $45 and $24 respectively.
