AN ELDERLY man was punched and robbed in a Dandenong car park last week.
Police want to speak to three people they believe witnessed the incident, which occurred on Scott Street about 12.20pm on 18 March.
Police said the man, 75, was driving on Scott Street when he noticed a woman he knew standing with another unknown woman.
When he pulled over, the unknown woman got in the passenger side and an unknown man got in the back seat of the car.
Police said the woman told him to drive into the car park at Scott Street. When he stopped the car, the man in the backseat grabbed the elderly man by the throat, and the woman punched his face and stole his wallet.
Police said the elderly man managed to get out of his car and leave the scene.
Police believe a man and woman of Maori appearance and another woman standing with them may have witnessed the attack and are urging them to come forward with information.
