FLARES, a double-edged dagger and several butcher knives were some of the weapons confiscated by police during an operation at the Dandenong Train Station last week.
As part of a PAD dog Operation Browny, transit police and their dogs saturated the station on the evening of 2 September.
They spoke to 95 people and conducted 85 pat downs in search of people carrying illicit drugs.
They charged three people for possessing a range of weapons, arrested 13 people for offences ranging from drugs possession, being drunk in public, possession of property expected to be proceeds of crime and breaching bail.
Eight people were given caution notices and six tickets were issued regarding public transport offences.
Police said 12 people will be charged on summons.
