Woman killed in freeway crash

A WOMAN has died following a multi-car crash on the Monash Freeway in Dandenong North.
She was driving inbound about 7.40am on Thursday 3 March when she crossed over lanes of traffic between Stud Road and Police Road, striking several vehicles.
Emergency services attended but the woman, aged in her 50s, died at the scene.
No one else was injured and there was only minor damage to vehicles.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.
The inbound lane was blocked off and traffic diverted following the crash.
