MORE than 35,000 people packed into Dandenong Market for the Dandenong World Fare – up 10,000 on last year.
The market became a pop-up street food bazaar for the fifth annual fare on Sunday 13 March.
The free Melbourne Food and Wine Festival event showcased the region’s best multicultural cuisine.
Live entertainment included cooking demonstrations and performances from flamenco, Brazilian and Indian dancers in colourful costumes.
