The Greater Dandenong Chamber of Commerce breakfast series is back.
Guest speaker David Corduff will kick off the year’s events at 7am on Friday 23 March at Punthill Apartment Hotel in Dandenong.
He’s a passionate advocate for reducing the stigma of mental illness and a beyondblue volunteer ambassador.
Mr Corduff will share his own experience with two bouts of major depression, including how it affected his personal and business lives.
The semi-retired businessman co-founded Gateways, a men’s group for retrenched middle-aged executives susceptible to depression.
He also mentored white collar criminals on their release from prison to prepare them for a new start.
The chamber will also announce and profile three nominees for its business awards program at the breakfast.
Winners will be announced at an event later in the year.
Call Amanda Checken on 9768 3283, email amanda@greaterdandenongchamber.com.au or visit www.greaterdandenongchamber.com.au to get involved.
