A suburb-wide art exhibition is taking inspiration from a classic ballet.

Odile takes its name from the sinister and seductive black swan in Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.

Each of the 11 artists involved in the multi-venue display across Dandenong explored ideas around good and evil.

The exhibition is designed for visitors to explore through a self-guided walking tour.

The works are on display at Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre, Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Gardens, Drum Theatre and Garnar Lane.

Odile runs until Saturday 23 June.

The exhibition is part of the Creative Victoria-funded [SUB] URBAN Studio Program.
