Collision leaves two hospitalised

Two men were seriously injured following a head-on collision in Springvale South on Monday morning on 16 July.

Police say it’s believed a south bound black Isuzu dual cab utility crossed a medium strip and collided head on with a white Ford ranger utility travelling north on Westall Road just after 7.30am.

The driver of the Izusu, and only occupant of the vehicle, was trapped for some time, said Victoria Police spokeswoman Anthoula Moutis.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The male driver of the Ford was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Westall Road was closed for some time but has been reopened to traffic.Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.
