Teens charged over train fight

POLICE have charged three teens over a fight on a Dandenong train, resisting arrest and assaulting police.
Passengers and the driver called Triple-zero from the moving train about 8.15pm on 7 October to report the incident.
Protective Services Officers (PSOs) and transit police were waiting on the platform at Dandenong as the train arrived.
Greater Dandenong CIU Acting Detective Sergeant Luke Kirton said the trio responded aggressively to police and officers deployed OC foam as a result of their resistance.
An 18-year-old man from Ferntree Gully and two 17-year-olds, from Ferntree Gully and Berwick, were bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court over the affray.
