A WOMAN and child have escaped serious injury after their car crashed through the front of an accountant’s office in Noble Park this afternoon.
The occupants walked away from their wrecked car which was wedged into the office’s window frontage on the corner of Ian Street and Heatherton Road just before 1pm.
Ron Podmore, owner of the nearby Waltzing Matilda Motors garage, said the people-mover appeared to have collided with a van before wedging itself up to the building’s “sliding door”.
“I heard a little touch,” he said.
“And the next minute it was a proper accident – I saw the car stuck there in the shop. It’ll be still stuck there for some time.
“I didn’t hear any crying. Everyone was rushing from everywhere to go and assist.”
A paramedic crew attended but an Ambulance Victoria spokesman said none of the occupants required medical treatment.
