Up there with the best

IN A time when newspapers are dropping in popularity it is rare to find one celebrating 150 years of production and I congratulate the Dandenong Journal on this notable milestone.
I have been a journalist for more than 50 years and have been fortunate enough to write for some of the most successful and with that background I have to say that the Dandenong Journal has been and remains the best local paper I have read.
The Dandenong Journal continues to provide great coverage of local news, council, politics, police and especially sport.
It is an integral part of the Dandenong community and an icon of that district.
Once again I congratulate the Dandenong Journal on a wonderful history and wish it the best for the next 150 years.
