Inspired to lead

YOUNG leaders can get help to develop their skills.
City of Greater Dandenong Youth Services will hold the Inspire Me forum at Chisholm Institute in Dandenong on Wednesday 9 September.
The Young Leaders Program event is for young people 16 to 25 years old who live, work or study in the municipality.
Participants will develop skills so they can advocate on youth issues and implement projects within their communities.
Skills include public speaking, effective communication, conflict resolution, stress management, media and promotion and project planning.
Mayor Sean O’Reilly said speakers would share their challenges, experiences and achievements in finding employment to motivate and inspire.
He said participants would learn how to best present resumes, covering letters and address selection criteria, how to look for employment, interview tips and pathways to further their education.
Inspire Me is in partnership with Chisholm and will take place between 9.30am and 12.30pm in the Building A auditorium at Chisholm Institute, 121 Stud Road, Dandenong.
