A Good Samaritan is trying to find the owner of a photograph.
Michael Pond found the snap on the floor at Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre some time ago.
“I believe it may be somebody’s lost mother or sister,” he said.
“The lady appears to be of European descent.
“The original photo measures five centimetres by seven centimetres and has a scalloped effect on the edge.
“I feel that it may have been taken perhaps in the 1930s to 1950s, as was the fashion at the time.
“I know that if I lost a precious thing like that, I’d be over the moon if I could get it back.”
