Uber cabbie carjacked

An Uber taxi driver has suffered a broken nose during a violent carjacking in Scott Street, Dandenong.

The 66-year-old man, from Brunswick, was punched in the face by a man who got in the front passenger door about 6.30pm on Sunday 15 September.

The driver fled from his vehicle, a 2010 white Ford Falcon station wagon, to escape his attacker.

The offender climbed into the driver’s seat and drove away.

The vehicle was found abandoned the next day in Mt Martha.
