A ‘no-drinking in public places’ campaign by Victoria Police and Greater Dandenong Council is set to start at Dandenong railway station.

Signs will be erected and footpath stencils placed at the station and nearby streets and car parks. Liquor retailers and traders will display posters warning of fines of up to $1000 for public-place drinking.
