Cranbourne man hurt in Dandenong hit-and-run

POLICE are investigating a hit-and-run in Dandenong on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said a 37-year-old man tripped while he was walking along Hammond Road and fell onto the road, where he was hit by a vehicle.

The driver did not stop and the victim, from Cranbourne, was taken to hospital with injuries to his leg.

Police want to speak to anyone who saw what happened, or who can identify the vehicle or its driver.

Anyone with information, or who saw the incident, is asked to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
