Wind of change hits school

A COOL breeze is blowing through the corridors of Keysborough’s Resurrection School thanks to an air conditioning system largely funded by the Federal Government.
Victorian Senator Mitch Fifield was on hand last Friday to officially switch on the new $80,000 air conditioning system.
Senator Fifield said the Federal Government contributed $75,000 under its Investing in Our Schools program, while the school contributed $5000.
The money is given to the school, which then decides what it would like to use it for.
“Local school communities know better than politicians in Canberra or Spring Street what they need,” Senator Fifield said.
In addition to the air conditioning system the school was able to replace several windows and frames.
