Testing times for highway drivers

VICTORIA Police has released images of a major drink-driving and drug-driving campaign in Dandenong that happened early this month.
Operation Rasper was conducted along the Princes Highway in Dandenong from 6pm on Friday 9 November to 2am on Saturday 10 November.
Police nabbed six drug-drivers and seven drink-drivers, arrested two people in a stolen car and tested a total of 1502 people.
Sergeant Pat Greene praised the efforts of police and labelled Rasper a success.
“Overall we were pleased with the results of the operation and particularly pleased with the cooperation of the majority of motorists who appreciated what we were trying to achieve and assisted our officers with their requests,” he said.
