THE Special Olympics kicked off in Dandenong last weekend with a torch lighting at Dandenong Stadium.
Dandenong police lit the cauldron inside Dandenong Stadium to commence two days of games in the Dandenong region for a range of sports including basketball, aquatics, bocce and ten pin bowling, last Saturday.
Approximately 200 athletes took part in the Special Olympics at three different venues in Dandenong, Endeavour Hills and Narre Warren.
