Armed robbery at post office

POLICE are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Dandenong North post office last month.
On Friday 31 October at 12.35pm, a male entered the Best Buys Pharmacy on Dunearn Road, Dandenong North brandishing what was believed to be a sawn-off double barrel shotgun.
The alleged offender approached the Australia Post counter situated within the pharmacy and made demands from staff before fleeing on foot, towards Heatherton Road. The man police are interested in speaking to is described as approximately 40 years old, 195 centimetres with a medium build.
Witnesses said the man was wearing a clue baseball cap, sunglasses, a white bandanna over his face, tracksuit pants, a dark jumper and white runners.
Police said there were no shots fired and no-one was injured but an amount of cash was stolen.
