ELECTION day approaches for residents of Greater Dandenong.
On Saturday week, 29 November, voters enrolled in the City of Greater Dandenong will head to the polls to elect their council for the next four years. Voting is compulsory for all enrolled residents under 70 – property owners and tenants – and failing to vote may result in a fine.
Votes can be lodged in person from 9am to 5pm on weekdays at the election office, 6/119-123 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong, from 9am to 8pm on Thursday 27 November, and from 9am to 6pm on Friday 28 November.
Postal vote applications are available by calling the election office on 9701 3431 or by downloading one from www.vec.vic.gov.au
