GREATER Dandenong businesses have hit the golf course for a good cause.
SEBN held its annual Take a Swing for Charity golf day at Sandhurst Golf Club in Skye on Monday 22 February.
The event has raised more than $250,000 over the past six years.
Organisers are still counting the cash from this year’s golf round and auction, which will go to the State Schools’ Relief Fund (SSRF).
It provides uniforms, clothing, shoes and other materials for disadvantaged students in Greater Dandenong.
The SSRF last year received $44,000 from Take a Swing for Charity, which paid for school equipment and uniforms for 679 students from 17 local schools.
