THE operators of a Noble Park aged care hostel will build a six bedroom extension to the Llewellyn Court property.
The City of Greater Dandenong approved the planning application to increase the number of beds at the facility from 15 to 25.
The Anglo Indian Australasian Association of Victoria submitted the application. The council received no objections.
The council approved the extension without requiring the applicant to provide additional car parking spaces.
The council decided there was adequate parking space available for visitors and staff, and that new residents were not expected to have cars of their own as the facility caters for dependent elderly people.
