THIEVES stole $6500 worth of surveying equipment from a parked car at Chisholm TAFE last week.
Dandenong Police are seeking witnesses to the incident, which happened in the early afternoon of Tuesday, 11 July.
Thieves broke into a white Ford ute at the Stud Road TAFE institute and stole a Pentax Theodolite, a valuable surveying tool valued at $6500.

POLICE are hunting the people who set fire to a Dandenong panel beaters’ yard causing significant damage.
The attack took place on Tuesday, 4 July at 9.15pm and police said a variety of car parts, including bumper bars, were lost in the blaze.

IT was all games and no fun for a Dandenong toy shop after someone set fire to a pile of rubbish at the rear of the premises.

THIEVES stole a teenager’s mobile phone while she was using it to send a text message in Dandenong.
Dandenong Police are looking for two men who are believed to have stolen the phone and the 19-year-old’s purse at 1.50pm on Monday, 26 June.
Police said the woman was walking along Walker Street, Dandenong, when two men running in the opposite direction hit her in the chest, causing her to fall over.
The men grabbed the woman’s purse and phone and fled towards Robinson Street.
Police believe they were later spotted in a car park between Langhorne Street and the Dandenong Plaza.
