POLICE are appealing for help to identify a teenage boy and girl who tried to rob a Noble Park convenience store last month.
Detectives from Dandenong Embona are investigating the 10 December incident, which saw the pair enter the Heatherton Road store about 1.30am, approach the counter and demand cigarettes.
The boy allegedly produced a knife and threatened the attendant, who locked himself in the office until the would-be robbers fled empty-handed.
They were last seen running west on Heatherton Road.
The boy is described as aged in his teens, Caucasian in appearance, and 155cm tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded top with blue pants.
The girl is also aged in her teens, 180cm tall with a medium build, and was wearing a grey hooded top with grey pants.
