TWO men attacked and robbed a Noble Park man about 5.40pm on 16 August.
Greater Dandenong CIU Acting Detective Sergeant Luke Kirton said the victim, 39, was walking outside Noble Park Primary School in Leonard Avenue when two men approached him from behind.
One grabbed him around the waist while the other tried to take his backpack from his hand.
The victim dropped the bag and the thieves removed his wallet.
A struggle ensued and one of the attackers brandished a broken beer bottle, causing minor wounds to the victim’s hand.
The attackers fled on foot through the primary school and are described as Islander in appearance and aged in their twenties with reasonably fair complexions.
One wore a brown T-shirt and black shorts and the other had a medium build and was wearing a dark hoodie and white shorts.
