DANDENONG Thunder have slumped to 10th on the FFV State League One ladder after a 2-1 loss to Bentleigh Greens on Sunday.
The scores were tied at 1-1 at half-time but it was Bentleigh that made the most of their opportunities in the second half.
Ryan Davidson was the goal-scorer for Dandenong.
With one win and three losses this season, the Thunder are yet to win a home game at George Andrews Reserve.
But come this Saturday night, that hoodoo could be broken when the Thunder face a must-win match against Southern Stars.
The Stars have won one game, drawn two and lost one this season.
The game kicks off at 7.30pm.
