TWELVE days of festive fun at M and K Lawyers in Dandenong will raise more than $2000 for charity.
The office decided to tie in fund-raising with its Christmas cards this year and turned to the traditional 12 Days of Christmas for inspiration.
“Our charity of choice is Windermere – a not for profit organisation and a long-time, valued client of M and K,” marketing and events assistant Stephanie Iacobucci said.
“Our Christmas cards are designed with the images of our 12 days with a brief description of the days.
“It also includes a link to our website for more details about each day and some quirky photos.”
Fund-raising days included a bake sale, a car wash, bingo night, an auction of unwanted presents from Christmases past, a sausage sizzle and a Christmas-themed casual clothes day.
“Our bake sale was Christmas-themed and our first fund-raising day,” Ms Iacobucci said.
“It set the bar high for the amount of money we could expect to raise.
“The momentum grew with each day, combining with the enthusiasm and contribution of both the Dandenong office and Melbourne office.
“We are now projecting a fund-raising total of over $2000 for Windermere.”
The office has also raised money for Dandenong disability support service Wallara along the way, with its clients helping at a staff car wash.
“The car wash was spread over two days, during which we raised $800 for Wallara plus further funds for Windermere,” Ms Iacobucci said.
